PharmaQB is a study tool for the PEBC Pharmacist Qualifying Examination. This page describes what it stores, why, and what it will never do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be complied with.

What is collected

  • Your email address, and a display name if you provide one.
  • A password hash, if you sign up with a password. If you sign in with Google, no password is stored at all — only Google’s account identifier, so the same person is recognised next time.
  • Study material you paste or upload, the concepts extracted from it, and the questions generated for you.
  • Your answers, how confident you were, how long you took, and the mastery and review schedule derived from them.

Your uploaded material stays yours

This is the commitment that shapes the rest of the system. Anything you paste or upload is stored privately to your account and is never added to PharmaQB’s shared knowledge base, never used to generate questions for anyone else, and never used to train a model.

It is enforced in the database rather than by policy: a question can only become shareable if nothing derived from a candidate’s own material appears anywhere in its history, and a database constraint rejects any record claiming otherwise.

What Google sign-in shares

If you choose Google sign-in, PharmaQB requests only your email address, basic profile name, and account identifier. It cannot read your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or calendar, and it never asks for permission to. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account’s security settings.

Third parties

Questions are generated and verified using AI models operated by third-party providers. Evidence passages and generated questions are sent to them for that purpose. Your email address and identity are not.

Hosting and the database are operated by third-party infrastructure providers. Anonymous page-view analytics are collected without cookies or cross-site tracking.

What is never done

  • Your data is not sold, and never will be.
  • Your uploaded material is not used to train models.
  • There is no advertising and no advertising tracker.
  • Your study performance is not shared with employers, schools, or PEBC.

Deleting your account

Email the address below and your account will be deleted along with your uploads, questions, answers and mastery data. Deletion cascades — nothing is retained in a shadow copy.
